According to an interview with Tetsuya Nomura in the recent Dengeki Playstation, the highly anticipated Square-Enix game will not be present at this years Tokyo Game Show. The magazine was released in celebration of Dengeki Playstation’s 500th issue, featuring a cover drawn by Nomura himself (for more information, check here).
There was a big feature about the confirmation of Versus XIII’s no-show to the Japanese event. The feature also mentioned that Theatrhythm would be the first title for Square-Enix’s 25th anniversary portfolio, as well as mentioning Kingdom Hearts 3D, though the comment was extremely obscure on details.
While Versus XIII may not be at Tokyo Game Show, the next unveil timeline has already been set for the game. It’s hard to say when this will be, as it could mean Jump Festa or Square-Enix’s own event in early 2012.
